Acclaimed by his peers early in his career, American painter Riley Holloway studied portraiture in Florence, Italy. From his contact with the Old Masters, he learned the art of depicting the postures as well as the character traits of his models, often friends or close family.
Considered one of the most promising artists of his generation, notably by the French press, Holloway's works are regularly shown worldwide. They can be found in prestigious collections, including the Dean Collection, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Collection of the city of Paris. (Fonds d’Art Contemporain - Paris Collections)
