Rero

Known worldwide for his famous texts crossed out with thick black lines, French artist Rero is famous for his hard-hitting style that blends conceptual art and social criticism. He questions the limits of language and the contradictions of our times, and his work, both incisive and poetic, is captivating in its originality and force of reflection. Invited several times by the Pompidou Center, notably to take over the museum's façade in 2013, he already exhibits regularly on four continents. His work can be found in many renowned collections, including the Mohammed VI Collection, the EDF Foundation and the Desperados Foundation.

Mondialement connu pour ses fameux textes barrés d’un épais trait noir, l’artiste français Rero est renommé pour son style percutant qui mêle art conceptuel et critique sociale. Il interroge les limites du langage et les contradictions de notre époque et son travail, à la fois incisif et poétique, captive par son originalité et sa force de réflexion. Invité plusieurs fois par le Centre Pompidou, notamment à investir la façade du musée en 2013, il expose déjà régulièrement sur quatre continents. Ses oeuvres sont présentes dans de nombreuses collections de renom dont la collection Mohammed VI, la Fondation EDF ou encore la Fondation Desperados.
